Hi, we're Yanna and Lee!

We're a mom and dad team who set out on a journey to raise our children in a multilingual household.

Our son loves sound books and we couldn't find anything in Cantonese and Vietnamese. We had the crazy idea to make our own and share it with other parents just like us.

With help from our family and friends we were able to create these books. It has made us so happy to see others enjoying the books and making memories together with their precious little ones.

These books are our love letters to our kids — and to every family raising little ones bilingual.

It started with the music...

It started on a whim, with late-night chats while the baby was asleep. A close friend helped us produce the Cantonese music with care, and for the Vietnamese songs we worked with a talented musician online. We shared voice notes and recordings back and forth until the music took shape. What began as a small idea grew into something much bigger.

Little moments built something big...

Working on the books was never easy with a newborn. We always put our baby first, which meant the books had to fit into whatever scraps of time we could find. Most nights we barely slept, and any quiet moment we had went into writing, designing, or planning. It often felt like we were scrambling just to keep things moving, but little by little, the work added up.

Seeing it come together...

We learned as we went, figuring things out one step at a time. What kept us going was the love we poured into the project, even when we weren’t sure of the next step. Eventually, all the pieces came together and we reached the point of printing. Holding the finished books in our hands was an incredible feeling, and we were so happy to finally share them with everyone.

We were so happy to share the books, a piece of our love made real for parents to enjoy with their children.
